UAT student selected as Banxico University Liaison

Marian Sánchez Roque, an economics student from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) Reynosa Rodhe unit, participated in the 2026 Annual Meeting of Banxico University Liaisons in Mexico City.

Designated as the Banxico University Liaison for the period of January 1 to December 31, 2026, Sánchez Roque engaged with high-level executives and specialists within the national financial system. Her involvement focused on areas including monetary policy, financial stability, and central banking.

As part of her role, she will serve as an official bridge to promote the economic and cultural programs of Banxico Educa within the UAT. The university leadership recognized her participation as a reflection of the institution's academic strengthening and national projection strategies.
