Ubaid Hussain targets contract win at The Inner Circle 28

Undefeated flyweight Muay Thai fighter Ubaid Hussain is set to face Isannuea Sor Sasiwatin at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok during the ONE Championship event, The Inner Circle 28, on Friday, August 28.

Hussain, a 20-year-old British-Pakistani athlete, enters the bout with a seven-fight winning streak. A victory in this matchup could secure him a US$100,000 main roster contract with the promotion.

Despite the opportunity, Hussain expressed a measured approach to his career progression. He stated, “I believe I’m quite close to getting the contract. But there’s no rush for me. There have been guys who have gotten the contract quickly, but when they go on to the big shows, they’re being defeated and getting exposed. I’d like to avoid that.”
