Ubaldo Bramucci, former Vigor goalkeeper and entrepreneur, dies at 90

Ubaldo ‘Baldo’ Bramucci, a prominent figure in the Senigallia community, has passed away at the age of 90. Bramucci was widely recognized for his dual legacy as a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality sector and a historic goalkeeper for the Vigor Senigallia football club.

As a sportsman, Bramucci was part of the Vigor squad that achieved promotion to Serie D in 1959. He is also remembered for a notable performance in a 1974 friendly match against Juventus, where he famously saved a penalty from John Charles.

In his professional life, Bramucci was a key figure in the local catering and nightlife industries. He was a co-founder of the People disco in Marotta and was involved with several local establishments, including Caffè Europa and the bar at the Senbtotel. His family continues to manage the Verde Mare country house restaurant in Scapezzano.
