Ubatuba and Caxias do Sul Hold Municipal Education Weeks Focused on Culture and Online Safety

The Fundação da Criança e do Adolescente de Ubatuba (Fundac) took part in the 26th Semana da Educação in Ubatuba, held from July 27‑29. The event featured art exhibitions, workshops in music, capoeira, drawing, computer skills and theater, and allowed Fundac staff to exchange pedagogical practices with municipal educators. President Alendri Marconi emphasized the partnership between schools, families and public authorities to strengthen protection and opportunities for children.

In Caxias do Sul, the Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SMED) organized the ninth Semana de Conscientização da Exploração Infantil e Combate aos Crimes de Internet from August 5‑7. The program offered live sessions for students, teachers and parents, legal talks by lawyers Vanise Camassola and Gabriela Alves, and a presentation by police officer Roberto Clamer on cyber‑crimes and digital rights. The week aimed to raise awareness of the Digital Child Statute and promote safe internet use among minors.
