Ubatuba hosts disability rights and rehabilitation forum

The V Jornada da Rede da Pessoa com Deficiência and the II Fórum de Reabilitação are scheduled to begin in Ubatuba, Brazil. Centered on the theme ‘Accessibility and Environment’, the event brings together health professionals, public managers, students, and individuals with disabilities to discuss public policy, mobility, and the fight against ableism.

The program includes discussions on urban planning, social control, and the participation of people with disabilities in public decision-making. Activities will take place at the Ubatuba Municipal Theater and the Municipal Chamber, with representatives from Ubatuba, São Sebastião, and Caraguatatuba expected to participate.
