Ubatuba hosts fourth stage of Caiçara Canoe Race

The fourth stage of the ‘Nossa Senhora das Dores do Itaguá’ Caiçara Canoe Race will take place this Sunday, the 20th, at Itaguá beach in Ubatuba. Organized by the Association of Friends and Rowers of Caiçara Canoes (AARCCA), the event is supported by the Ubatuba Foundation of Art and Culture (Fundart).

The competition includes several categories: Four Oars (Male and Female - Fishing), Mixed Two Oars (Fishing and Regatta), and Children's Two Oars (Fishing and Regatta). The day's schedule begins with breakfast at 8:00 AM, followed by races at 9:00 AM and lunch at noon.

This event is part of a larger championship that began on July 19. Following the Itaguá stage, four more events are scheduled for the remainder of the year in Caçandoca (October 12), Fortaleza (October 18), Barra Seca (November 8), and Perequê-Açu (November 29).
