Ubatuba hosts FWS 2026 with skateboarding and BMX competitions

The third edition of FWS 2026 is taking place this weekend in Ubatuba, featuring skateboarding, BMX, and live music. The free event, running from 9:00 to 19:00, expects to host over 200 athletes.

A major highlight is the installation of a Super Mini Ramp with a spine, which will be available for demonstrations and sports activities throughout the weekend. Saturday's schedule includes Jam Sessions and Best Trick competitions for both skate and BMX, alongside performances by local musical artists. Sunday will feature a skateboarding championship at the Ubatuba Skate Park.

Sports Secretary Saulo Souza stated that the event aims to encourage sports practice, support local athletes and artists, and provide leisure options for residents and tourists. Event organizer Wesley Pereira noted expectations for a large-scale edition with participants from various locations.
