Ubatuba Municipal Stadium renovations delayed by heavy rain

The Ubatuba Secretariat of Works has reported delays in the completion of improvements at the Ciccillo Matarazzo Municipal Stadium. Frequent rainfall over the last 60 days has compromised several stages of the project, specifically the turf treatment and pest control, preventing scheduled sporting activities for October.

Beyond the field, several other interventions remain pending, including the completion of the athletics track, the installation of goalposts, and field marking. Other planned works include the installation of an elevator, the completion of external bathrooms under the new grandstand, and electrical and finishing work in the VIP area, which is intended for sports such as jiu-jitsu and judo.
