Ubatuba offers free educational courses for the elderly
The Social Assistance Secretariat in Ubatuba, in partnership with Senac, is offering free in-person courses designed to promote autonomy and social participation for elderly citizens. The program consists of four modules: elderly rights, digital technology inclusion, theater workshops, and regional tourism.
Classes will be held at various locations, including EM Mario Covas in the West region, the Sociedade Amigos do Bairro do Rio Escuro (SABRE) in the South region, and Cras Centro in the central region. Due to low demand, officials are also considering relocating the sessions originally planned for the Maranduba area to a different venue to better consolidate the classes.
There are 25 vacancies available per location. Interested individuals must register in person at the designated sites by August 24 or until all spots are filled.
