Ubatuba swimmers dominate Circuito Mares stage in Caraguatatuba

Swimmers from Ubatuba competed in the third stage of the Circuito Mares on Sunday, 14 May at Praia da Cocanha in Caraguatatuba, Brazil. The team secured podium finishes in every category – Short, Marathon, Challenge, Aquathlon and the 5 km run. Coach and athlete Luciana Santos won the overall Aquathlon title, stating, “It was a very positive stage for our team. We achieved important results in all disciplines.”

Other standout performances included João Luis Carvalho and Alexandra Garcia winning the Master Aquathlon titles, Lanui Santos placing third in the women's Challenge 5 km, Roberta Milazzo winning the Master Marathon, and several junior and youth athletes earning top‑five finishes. Sports and Leisure Secretary Saulo Souza highlighted the results as evidence of the athletes’ dedication and the strength of Ubatuba’s open‑water sport program.
