Ubatuba's Fundart launches first Arraial Bailarinístico festival

The Fundação de Arte e Cultura de Ubatuba (Fundart) is holding the inaugural Arraial Bailarinístico on Friday, 17 July 2026. The free‑entry event begins at 16:30 at the Centro Cultural Araponga in downtown Ubatuba and will run through Sunday, 19 July.

The festival combines dance, music, traditional June‑month games and typical food stalls, and invites the public to join the quadrilha. Fundart president Durval Neto said the occasion showcases the work of the dance workshop and the technical progress of its participants over the first half of 2026. The Arraial is part of a July cultural circuit that includes the 10th Festival of Cultures in Cambury and the 24th Mandioca Festival in Ubatumirim.
