UBB suffers defeat against USAP in Perpignan

UBB suffered a 38-25 defeat against USAP in Perpignan, characterized by significant offensive inefficiency despite controlling much of the match. UBB maintained 70% possession at halftime and finished the game with 60% possession, yet found themselves trailing on the scoreboard.

Manager Yannick Bru criticized the team's lack of individual rigor and offensive clumsiness, noting that the team surrendered three tries to USAP while failing to convert their own opportunities. The match was marked by three disallowed tries for UBB following video referee interventions involving players Arthur Retière, Gaëtan Barlot, and Cameron Woki. Bru attributed the loss to poor decision-making and hazardous passing rather than officiating, stating, “Our attack put us in danger for most of the match.”
