UBEC conducts school leadership training in Ondo and Cross River

Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has partnered with state education boards in Ondo and Cross River to conduct capacity-building workshops for school leaders.

In Ondo State, the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) launched a three-day seminar for headteachers and junior secondary school principals. The program focuses on quality assurance, effective school administration, and data-driven decision-making to ensure educational standards are sustained.

In Cross River State, the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board trained 110 headteachers and principals through a four-day workshop. The training, organized by the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation, aims to improve teaching and learning outcomes by strengthening leadership and administrative competence.
