Uber service unavailable in Iceland and Fairbanks

Uber does not currently operate in Iceland or Fairbanks, Alaska.

In Iceland, travelers can utilize traditional taxi services, such as Hreyfill and BSR, or the Straeto public bus system in the Reykjavik area. Car rentals are a common method for exploring the country beyond the capital.

In Fairbanks, the lack of Uber service is attributed to factors including the city's small population, sprawling layout, seasonal weather fluctuations, and geographic isolation. Residents and tourists in the area must rely on alternative transportation methods.
