Uberlândia adjusts public services for 138th anniversary holiday
Uberlândia will adjust its public service operations on Monday, August 31, 2026, to celebrate the city's 138th anniversary. While the Municipal Administrative Center, Procon, Sine, and various cultural spaces will be closed, emergency healthcare services at Integrated Care Units (UAIs) will remain operational.
Other municipal services, such as Basic Health Units (UBSs) and outpatient sectors, will be closed. Public transportation will follow a Sunday schedule, and urban cleaning will operate on a standby basis, though selective waste collection and ecopoints will be suspended. Public parks, including Parque do Sabiá and Parque Gávea, will maintain specific holiday hours. Emergency services for water, sewage, and traffic remain available via dedicated telephone lines.
