Ubiquiti launches UniFi Dream Machine Pro cloud gateway

Ubiquiti has expanded its UniFi product line with the introduction of the Dream Machine Pro, a 1U rack-mountable cloud gateway designed for larger network environments. The device features 10G backbone interfaces and provides an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) throughput of 3.5 Gbps to handle security and traffic workloads.

Technical specifications include 9 LAN ports and 2 WAN ports. The hardware is positioned as a bridge between standard routers and full-scale network consoles, capable of supporting over 100 UniFi devices and more than 1,000 clients.

A Special Edition model is also available, which includes 4 GB of DDR4 memory, 16 GB of eMMC, and an integrated 128 GB SSD. This version further adds a 1.3-inch touchscreen and several PoE and PoE+ ports. In European markets, pricing for the Dream Machine Pro has been observed ranging from approximately 410 to 714 Euros.
