Ubisoft and Xbox Offer Free PC Versions to Digital Xbox Game Owners

Ubisoft and Microsoft’s Xbox announced an expanded partnership that lets owners of digital Ubisoft titles on Xbox consoles claim the corresponding PC versions at no extra charge. The free transfers are processed through Ubisoft Connect and apply to thirteen games, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs Legion.

The offer is one‑directional: players who own the Xbox digital copies receive the PC editions, but PC owners do not receive Xbox versions. All associated DLCs and expansion packs transfer automatically, while in‑game currency, consumables and virtual items remain platform‑specific. The Xbox Play Anywhere feature is not enabled, so achievements and save‑game synchronization are not shared. Eligibility requires a digital purchase on Xbox, the latest Ubisoft Connect client on Windows, and does not cover physical disc copies.
