Ubisoft launches Just Dance: Decades of Hits on multiple platforms

Ubisoft has launched Just Dance: Decades of Hits, a new entry in the rhythm game franchise available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A version specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, which will include a free upgrade for existing Nintendo Switch players.

The game features 35 iconic songs spanning six decades, from the 1970s to the 2020s, including tracks by artists such as ABBA, Madonna, Britney Spears, and Chappell Roan. It introduces a new Adventure Mode where players control the character Lyra to rescue her father, Dr. Gigavolt, through various themed musical worlds.

In terms of production, the game's costume designer, Benjamin Jouffret, emphasized a commitment to human creativity over artificial intelligence. The visual elements are created using real dancers in handmade costumes and makeup, filmed against green screens to ensure a handcrafted aesthetic.
