Ubisoft announces 'The Hippodrome' DLC for Anno 117: Pax Romana

Ubisoft has announced the release of 'The Hippodrome' DLC for Anno 117: Pax Romana, scheduled for August 20, 2026. The expansion introduces a new monumental structure, described as the largest building in Latium, which is unlocked by Patricians.

This DLC focuses on urban planning and resource management, as players must organize chariot races to meet citizen demand for entertainment. Successful races increase city splendor and can unlock larger competitions. The expansion also features a specialist system where various characters can be assigned to the structure to evolve their skills through racing events.

'The Hippodrome' will launch alongside Update 2.0. It is priced at 8 Euro, though players with the Year-1 Pass will receive it at no additional cost. This release is part of a broader content roadmap for the year, which includes a cosmetic DLC in September and the 'Awakening of the Delta' gameplay DLC in November, focusing on Egypt.
