Development of the video game Beyond Good & Evil 2 is ongoing at Ubisoft, despite the long period of silence following its initial announcements. Rik Godwin, an associate narrative director at Ubisoft Bordeaux, confirmed his involvement in the project over the last few months in a support and consulting capacity.

While no official release window has been provided, the project remains active at Ubisoft Montpellier, which continues to hire professionals for the title. The game, originally envisioned as a massive interplanetary open-world prequel, has faced significant delays since its early iterations were shown in 2008 and 2017.
