Ubisoft delays Rayman Legends Retold release to December 3
Ubisoft has announced a delay for the release of Rayman Legends Retold, moving the launch from October 1, 2026, to December 3, 2026. The decision comes despite the game having already reached “gold” status, a milestone indicating that the primary development is complete and the version is ready for production.
The development teams at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan stated that the additional time will be used to ensure “every detail gets the care it deserves,” focusing on final refinements and polishing the experience. The title is a reimagining of the 2013 platformer, featuring updated 3D visuals, new musical stages, and expanded content.
Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. To maintain momentum during the delay, Ubisoft will release a new Game Overview trailer on September 22, alongside hands-on impressions from selected media outlets and content creators. The release package also includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
