Ubisoft details Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced remake
Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a full remake rebuilt on the Anvil Engine, will launch on July 9, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, offering 4K resolution at 60 fps, dynamic weather, enhanced lighting and faster loading times.
The update adds new missions featuring Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, a new end‑game chapter “A World Without Gold”, and expanded story content. Players can recruit three new officers for the Jackdaw, and mission types such as Templar Hunts and Contracts have been reworked.
The Great Inagua hideout receives major upgrades: expanded facilities, a three‑tier General Store, new locations like a Fisherman’s Wharf and Treasure Dealer, and visible NPC activity as players progress. Gameplay changes include a revised stealth system that no longer fails instantly on detection, a time‑control mechanic, and selectable difficulty modes.
