Ubisoft launches free AlUla Discovery Tour mobile app

Ubisoft has released the Discovery Tour App: AlUla, a free educational mobile experience that allows users to explore the historical heritage of AlUla, Saudi Arabia. Based on the world recreated in Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory, the app is available on the App Store, Google Play, and via web browsers.

The application features three primary components: an Access Codex containing encyclopedic entries and 3D augmented reality artifacts; an Explore AlUla section consisting of a 90-minute mission-based journey to decipher ancient inscriptions; and an Enter Chronology timeline covering historical periods from prehistory to the present. Developed by Sugar Creative, the app is available in seven languages, including English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
