Ubisoft launches March of Giants Pioneer Playtest on Steam

Ubisoft has launched the Pioneer Playtest for its upcoming 4v4 MOBA, March of Giants, on Steam. The playtest is scheduled to run from October 7 to October 18, 2026, allowing players in North America and select European countries to experience the game for free.

In March of Giants, players control massive titans known as Giants, each possessing unique abilities. Unlike traditional MOBAs, players also command battalions of soldiers to attack, gather materials, or capture bonuses. The game features a setting inspired by World War I technology blended with fantasy elements. Strategic depth is added through Battleworks, which allow players to reinforce defenses or request reinforcements.

Ubisoft is using this period to collect community feedback, test server capacity, and refine the gameplay experience. Notably, there is no non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in place, meaning players are permitted to record gameplay, stream, and share their experiences.
