Ubisoft Mainz releases Dawn of the Delta expansion for Anno 117

Ubisoft Mainz has released Dawn of the Delta, the final DLC of the first year for Anno 117: Pax Romana. The expansion introduces the Aegyptus region, set in the Nile Delta during the Roman era.

Players must manage new production chains and irrigation mechanics to support new population tiers, including Chanters and Gymnasiarchs. A central feature of the expansion is the Pyramid Restoration project, where players contribute offerings to complete the structures in stages. Successful participation in these restorations can provide gameplay buffs.

The expansion focuses on regional distinctiveness, utilizing a landmass split by the Nile rather than traditional random islands. This layout introduces unique challenges regarding land availability and water navigation.
