Ubisoft rebrands Creative House 2 as Massive Entertainment

Ubisoft has rebranded its Creative House 2 business unit as Massive Entertainment. This change consolidates several development teams under a single global identity to manage major intellectual properties.

The Massive Entertainment brand will now oversee the development of Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell, as well as new original IP such as March of Giants. The unified unit includes development teams located in Montréal, Paris, Sweden, and Toronto.

Christoph Hartmann, the former head of Amazon Games and co-founder of 2K Games, serves as the General Manager of the unit. This reorganization is part of a broader restructuring effort by Ubisoft aimed at streamlining development and reducing costs. The company stated that there will be no changes to existing commitments for players or partners.
