Ubisoft releases The Crew Motorfest on Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft has released The Crew Motorfest on the Nintendo Switch 2. The open-world racing game, developed by Ivory Tower, arrives on the new console featuring optimized performance and content from Season 11: Expeditions.

Key updates include a collaboration with Crystal Dynamics for a Tomb Raider-themed premium DLC. This content introduces the ‘Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau’ playlist, allowing players to explore a new island and follow Lara Croft through jungle environments and ancient ruins.

The release also features the free Kauai island expansion, a new ‘Road Discovery’ function that rewards exploration, and a winch and towing mechanic for specific vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 and the Suzuki Jimny Winch Edition. While the port is noted for its extensive content, technical observations include a frame rate limited to 30 FPS and the requirement for a permanent internet connection.
