Ubisoft sets July 9 release for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake

Ubisoft announced that its remake "Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced" is finished and will be released on July 9, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The updated version restores the original game’s Caribbean setting, removes the weak present‑day segment, adds new story content, cross‑platform achievements and can be played offline. No microtransactions or DLC details have been disclosed. Ubisoft noted the project concluded without major problems despite broader company cost‑cutting measures.

The launch is expected to attract fans of the original 2013 title and aims to boost sales across the major gaming platforms.
