Ubisoft showcases Rayman Legends Retold gameplay at Gamescom

Ubisoft has showcased new gameplay for Rayman Legends Retold during Gamescom 2026. The title is an enhanced remake of the 2013 classic, featuring redesigned 3D visual effects while maintaining the original's fast-paced platforming structure.

New content introduced in the demo includes the ability to ride dragons, new challenges such as the Cave of Trials, and four new musical levels. The remake also features fully dubbed cinematics, new health mechanics, and a mysterious sixth realm. Additionally, the Kung Foot mini-game returns, and Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition will be included with the release.

Early impressions from hands-on demonstrations highlight the intense speed of the musical levels, such as one set to the rhythm of the Macarena, and the addition of new gameplay mechanics. Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026.
