Ubisoft Splinter Cell Remake leaks reveal new concept art

Leaked concept art and 3D models from a former Ubisoft Toronto artist have provided a first look at the upcoming Splinter Cell remake. The leaked materials, dating from 2024, showcase the visual direction for the project, which appears to remain faithful to the original 2002 game's setting and timeline.

The images depict detailed urban environments in Tbilisi, Georgia, including sunlit alleys, local restaurants, and authentic regional architecture. The assets also include period-accurate details such as political campaign posters for the antagonist Kombayn Nikoladze, dated 2004, suggesting the remake will preserve the original story's chronology.

Despite recent layoffs at Ubisoft Toronto, the publisher has indicated that the project's schedule remains protected. While industry reports suggest a potential release in late 2027, an official launch date has not yet been announced.
