Ubisoft targets June 2027 release for Assassin's Creed Hexe

Ubisoft has confirmed that its next main‑line Assassin’s Creed title, tentatively called “Hexe,” is planned for a June 2027 launch. Information leaked by the source known as Rogue indicates the game will return to a darker, historically grounded setting, focusing on the German witch‑hunt era with key locations such as Würzburg and Nuremberg linked by a large forest.

The title departs from the series’ recent open‑world format, offering a large‑scale but strictly linear experience. Players will control a new protagonist, Annika, and will see classic parkour mechanics revived alongside revamped stealth, a fear system that reacts to NPCs, and atmospheric weather effects. Supernatural elements remain in the story despite the removal of direct magic powers.

Hexe will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with three price tiers – a Standard edition at $70, a Deluxe edition at $90 and a Collector’s edition at $120, the latter including a pre‑order bonus quest. The leak comes as Ubisoft faces a delicate financial situation after recent releases, making the success of Hexe crucial for the publisher’s revenue outlook.
