Xbox offers five Ubisoft AAA games for free play through October 4

Xbox has launched a special Ubisoft Takeover edition of its Free Play Days program, offering five major AAA titles to all Xbox users at no cost through October 4, 2026. Notably, this event does not require an active Xbox Game Pass subscription; a standard Xbox account is sufficient to participate.

The featured games include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Crew Motorfest, Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Skull and Bones. Players can access the full versions of these titles for a limited time, and any progress, achievements, or Gamerscore earned during the event will carry over if the games are purchased later.

To encourage continued play, Microsoft and Ubisoft are offering various discounts on these titles for users who wish to keep them after the free period ends. For example, Far Cry 6 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are available at significant price reductions.
