Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Hexe slated for June 2027 release

Ubisoft has not confirmed a release date for its next main‑line game, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, but leakers Rogue TX and AgaiinTx report an internal target of June 2027. This is earlier than the previously rumored holiday‑2027 window and could shift if development issues persist.

The German‑language report notes that the project has faced internal challenges, including the removal of roughly 50 staff members from Ubisoft Montreal in April and a change of creative director—from Clint Hocking to Jean Guesdon—in February. An insider warned, "Damit es alle wissen: Das ist ein interner Termin, der sich zu jedem beliebigen Zeitpunkt weiter nach hinten verschieben könnte," indicating the date could be delayed. Ubisoft is currently focusing on the upcoming launch of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced in July 2026, which may affect when Hexe receives its first official look.
