Ñuble film producers participate in Hollywood commercial mission

Four audiovisual production companies from Chile's Ñuble Region—DiezCincuenta, Películas del Ñuble, R2 Medios, and Catarsis Films—participated in a commercial mission to Hollywood. Organized by ProChile and the Chile Film Commission, the mission included a national delegation of 15 companies and a trade association.

Representatives Dagoberto Flores, Tomás Alzamora, Raúl Venegas, and Catalina Espinoza met with executives from major studios and streaming platforms, including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix, and Amazon MGM Studios. The goal was to showcase regional locations and the quality of Chilean professionals to international distributors.

The initiative was made possible through a public call by ProChile Ñuble, funded by the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR). Filmmaker Tomás Alzamora noted that while Chilean cinema is gaining international recognition, there is a need for state policies, such as tax incentives and stable investment instruments, to attract large-scale foreign productions to the country.
