Ñuble opens applications for Regional Environmental Advisory Council
The Ñuble region has opened applications for the Regional Environmental Advisory Council for the 2027-2029 period. This initiative is part of a national renewal process led by the Ministry of the Environment.
Eligible applicants include universities, professional institutes, and social, union, or business organizations. The council serves as a participatory space where representatives contribute expertise to analyze regional environmental matters, issue opinions on environmental instruments, and respond to queries from regional authorities. Members serve on an ad honorem basis.
Angélica Cuevas Palominos, the regional Minister of the Environment for Ñuble, emphasized the importance of diverse institutional participation to address regional environmental concerns.
