Ñuble region establishes legal clinic table to improve justice access
In the Ñuble region of Chile, the Regional Table of Legal Clinics and Access to Justice has been established to strengthen collaborative work between higher education institutions and judicial services. Led by the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Justice and Human Rights alongside the regional director of the Judicial Assistance Corporation (CAJ), the initiative brings together representatives from the Universidad de Concepción, Universidad del Alba, and Universidad Adventista de Chile.
The initiative aims to improve free legal services by coordinating the efforts of various actors providing legal guidance and support. By sharing training experiences and work methodologies, the table seeks to enhance the practical training of law students while improving the response provided to families and individuals facing difficulties in accessing legal aid. The collaboration will also help identify service gaps and common needs within the community.
