Uboldo and Tertenia hold first meeting following twinning agreement

The municipalities of Uboldo and Tertenia held their first institutional meeting following a formal twinning agreement approved by local councils in January. The event, held in Tertenia, featured a celebration involving music, local traditions, and a dinner attended by over 200 people.

The partnership is rooted in historical migration patterns from the 1950s, when many residents of Tertenia moved from Sardinia to the Lombardy region in search of work. This movement led to deep social and familial integration between the two communities over several decades. Uboldo Mayor Luigi Clerici noted that the twinning serves as a testament to successful integration, respect, and friendship between different territories.
