UBS Banco da Vitória records 1,474 visits after renovation

The Banco da Vitória Basic Health Unit (UBS) in Ilhéus recorded 1,474 patient visits during its first month of operation following a renovation. The facility, which resumed activities after being delivered by the Ilhéus City Hall on June 28, provides primary healthcare services including medical, nursing, nutritional, and dental care.

The unit offers specialized monitoring for women, pregnant women, children, men, and the elderly, as well as support for patients with hypertension and diabetes. Services include blood pressure monitoring, glucose testing, vaccinations, wound care, and rapid testing. Additionally, the staff conducts home visits and manages medication distribution and Bolsa Família beneficiary monitoring.
