UBS Group AG acquires 5.03% stake in Sibanye-Stillwater

UBS Group AG has acquired a beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of Sibanye-Stillwater. According to formal notifications, the total interest held by UBS Group AG now amounts to 5.03% of the company’s total issued ordinary shares.

Sibanye-Stillwater, a global mining and metals processing group, is required to file this change in beneficial interest with the Takeover Regulation Panel in accordance with the Companies Act and JSE Limited Listings Requirements. The company is a major producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), gold, nickel, chrome, copper, silver, cobalt, and zinc.
