UBS announced that four private‑wealth advisors – Jesse Flatt, Lea Ann Drew, Brandon Burns and Carlos Rodriguez – have left Bank of America Private Bank to join UBS’s Greater Florida/Gulf Coast Market in Tampa, Florida. The team oversees roughly $1.3 billion in client assets and will report to Tampa Bay Senior Market Director Jack Heiss. UBS Southeast Regional Director Julie Fox said the advisors are “among the best in the business” and have built deep relationships throughout the Tampa community, while Heiss highlighted their more than 100 years of combined experience serving ultra‑high‑net‑worth families and business owners. The advisors bring extensive backgrounds: Flatt has held senior investment roles at RBC Rochdale, Invesco, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch; Drew spent nearly 15 years as a senior trust officer at Bank of America after roles at Wells Fargo and SunTrust; Burns joined Bank of America in 2022 after a stint at RBC Rochdale; Rodriguez spent 12 years at Bank of America and 14 years at SunTrust, previously practicing law. UBS reported $6.9 trillion in invested assets as of the first quarter of 2026.
