Chinese robotics firm UBTECH announced the launch of its consumer‑grade UWORLD U1 series of ultra‑bionic humanoid robots at a global event in Shenzhen. The lineup includes the half‑body U1 Lite, the full‑body U1 Pro and the high‑dynamic U1 Ultra, each featuring 88 degrees of freedom, 2–4 hour battery life, Wi‑Fi connectivity and an empathetic AI model that perceives user emotions. In a separate market report, Shenzhen‑based DAMODA Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. was ranked first globally in the drone‑show equipment market with a 36.42% share for 2025. The company highlighted its record‑setting performances, including a 2025 show of 11,787 drones in Chongqing, and its new V4 automated drone‑show system that offers dock‑based fast charging, one‑click setup and 99.999% flight reliability. DAMODA’s innovations have secured multiple Guinness World Records and its equipment has been featured at major events such as the CCTV Spring Festival Gala and the China Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
