UC CHRISTUS and Corfo launch PRISMA IA healthcare program
UC CHRISTUS and Corfo have launched PRISMA IA, a technological program designed to transition artificial intelligence from experimental stages into practical healthcare solutions. The initiative aims to develop and validate eight AI tools focused on both clinical and administrative tasks to optimize hospital management and reduce operational burdens on medical staff.
The program involves a total investment of $4,382 million, with $2,600 million provided by Corfo and $1,782 million from participating entities. This collaboration brings together healthcare providers, universities, technology centers, and public agencies.
Validation and pilot projects will take place at the UC CHRISTUS clinic, as well as within the Health Services of Coquimbo and Talcahuano.
