UC Davis defeats Eastern Washington 49-38 in college football

UC Davis defeated Eastern Washington 49-38 at UC Davis Health Stadium on Saturday night. The victory improves the Aggies' record to 4-2 and 2-1 in Big Sky Conference play.

Jordan Fisher led the offensive effort with a career-high 255 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including an 87-yard scoring run in the first half. Quarterback Treynor Cleeland contributed two touchdown passes, including a 50-yard connection to Samuel Gbatu, Jr. and a 53-yard pass to Zach Jones. Jones also recorded a 67-yard touchdown run during the first quarter.

The win marks a significant milestone for UC Davis, as they had previously been 0-5 all-time against Eastern Washington on the Eagles' home field.
