UC Davis student arrested for alleged drug dealing while on juvenile probation

A young woman serving juvenile probation at a UC Davis dormitory has been arrested on drug-related charges. The individual was originally placed on probation at age 15 following the killing of 15-year-old Omari Lowery in Sacramento County.

Under California’s Less Restrictive Programming (LRP), the individual was transitioned from secure juvenile custody to community-based settings to complete her sentence. She was enrolled in the Underground Scholars program, a state-funded initiative for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students, and moved into campus housing in December 2025.

According to arrest records, officers allegedly discovered live ammunition, a digital scale, over 100 plastic baggies, text messages indicating drug sales, and $4,121 in cash during a search of her dorm room. The individual was still under juvenile commitment at the time of the arrest.
