Ucayali road connectivity to receive over S/ 217 million investment
The Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), through its executing unit Provías Descentralizado (PVD), has announced a call for tenders to manage, improve, and conserve the Corredor Vial Alimentador No. 24. The project involves an investment exceeding S/ 217 million to intervene in more than 100 kilometers of departmental roads in the Ucayali region.
Part of the Proregión 2 program, the initiative is funded by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF). The project aims to benefit 32,475 people across the districts of Tahuanía in Atalaya province and Iparía in Coronel Portillo province. The intervention includes five sections, connecting locations such as Nuevo Italia, Bolognesi, Dv. San José, and the Sheshea bridge, to strengthen regional connectivity and economic activity.
