UCC to host blood sugar care event in Tokyo amid dietary health trends

Efforts to improve dietary habits for vascular and blood health are gaining attention, focusing on both reducing harmful intake and adding beneficial nutrients. Experts suggest incorporating specific foods like fish, tea containing catechins, and vinegar-mixed natto (su-natto) to help moderate blood sugar spikes through acetic acid.

In response to a survey by UCC Ueshima Coffee showing that less than 20% of working adults actively manage their blood sugar, the company will host a promotional event at the Tokyo International Forum on October 20 and 21, 2026. The event, titled ‘Blood Sugar Receipt Exchange Office,’ allows participants to exchange meal receipts for free samples of ‘UCC &Healthy Delicious Blood Sugar Care Stick Coffee,’ a functional food containing chlorogenic acid designed to slow post-meal blood sugar rises.
