UCF and Baylor prepare for Week 9 college football matchup

The UCF Golden Knights and Baylor Bears are set to face each other in a Week 9 college football matchup in Orlando. Both teams enter the game with 4-3 records.

Baylor is navigating a coaching transition following the dismissal of head coach Dave Aranda. Interim head coach Joe Klanderman will lead the team, with Jake Spavital given creative freedom over the offense to support quarterback DJ Lagway. The Bears are currently on a two-game losing streak.

UCF enters the contest following an overtime upset against BYU. While the Knights have struggled defensively, allowing 27 or more points in four of their last five games, their offense has remained productive, averaging 32.7 points per game this season.
