UCF and Iowa compete in Illini Women’s Invitational

Illini Women’s Invitational women’s collegiate golf UCF Knights Iowa Hawkeyes Medinah Country Club

The Illini Women’s Invitational at Medinah Country Club concluded with UCF and Iowa finishing in the middle of the field.

UCF women’s golf finished in sixth place with a total team score of 859 (-5). Senior Molly Smith secured her second top-10 finish of the season, ending with a 207 (-9) score. Freshman Ayana Hiranaka also achieved a top-10 finish, recording a 209 (-7).

Iowa women’s golf finished in ninth place out of fifteen teams with a 54-hole score of 866. First-year player Eva Kristinsdottir led the Hawkeyes with an individual score of 208 (-8), placing seventh overall. Maura Peters contributed a final-round 68 to finish tied for 21st with a total of 214 (-2).
