UCF defeats TCU 21-13 in Big 12 conference opener

The TCU Horned Frogs lost 21-13 to the UCF Knights at the Acrisure Bounce House, marking their first Big 12 conference game of the season and dropping their record to 2-2.

TCU's offense struggled with turnovers and discipline, recording double-digit penalties. Quarterback Jaden Craig threw two interceptions, and the team managed only 33 rushing yards. Despite the loss, Jordan Dwyer recorded his 10th career 100-yard receiving game. The defense performed well, led by Jamel Johnson with 10 tackles, holding UCF to under 300 total yards.

UCF capitalized on an early fumble to take a 7-0 lead. While TCU briefly took the lead via a field goal and a touchdown, UCF responded in the second quarter and again early in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. An errant pass by Craig late in the game effectively sealed the contest.
