Indiana University announces basketball schedule and football matchup

Indiana University has released its 2026-2027 men's basketball non-conference schedule, which includes a matchup against UCF on December 12 at Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers will also face opponents such as Syracuse, Arkansas, and Kentucky at various venues.

In football, Indiana's season opener will feature a notable matchup against North Texas, led by former Indiana quarterback Tayven Jackson. Jackson, who previously played for Indiana and Tennessee before moving to UCF, is expected to start for North Texas in what is being described as a revenge game for the former Hoosier.

Separately, the UCF men's soccer team has begun a three-game home stretch following a 1-0-1 start to their season. The team has recorded consecutive shutouts, a feat the program has not achieved since 2010.
